Women’s only Food & Essential Items

distribution throughout the communities of Norfolk & Waveney

From March 2020 to March 2021, we have distributed over 21000 food parcels and essential items such as toiletries, sanitary products, baby products, clothing and much more.

As a team, we have delivered food & essential items across Norfolk and Waveney, taking over newly available Fareshare and other collections as other groups and organisations went into furlough or were unable to run groups etc, due to Covid-19.

Now we are launching a collection day specifically for women only and run by women.

We will provide a safe secure environment for women where they can come and receive the support they need. We will provide food & essential parcels, baby products, sanitary items, support mental health and provide burner phones if they are in abusive or coercive relationships.

For the last 3 years we had been working closely with Fareshare and other food distributors to support our groups. Very quickly we saw the need for nutritious food and essential items to be supplied during lockdown to people in need.

We could not have done this without everybody’s support.

All women and girls should have access to sanitary items during their period. That’s why we distribute these essential items to those in need. If you are in need of support with your periods, then please get in touch. We have a number of female volunteers that are here to help 7 days a week for your sanitary needs.
